Distinguished and prolific western writer James
Reasoner tells me his favourite of his own books is UNDER OUTLAW FLAGS. This is a western
that has a backcloth of the First World War.
There’s always been a bit of an
overlap between the Wild West and World War 1, of course (‘They Came to
Cordura’ ‘The Wild Bunch’ etc.)
Reviewers – 80% of whom give it 5 stars –
describe UNDER OUTLAW FLAGS as ‘a wonderful adventure’ and ‘a masterful
journey.’
